About Our Doctor - Roni Sharon M.D.

Our chief physician, Dr. Sharon, is a board certified Neurologist and headache and facial pain specialist.  His main interest is chronic pain conditions and improving the quality of patients' lives.

He is licensed in NY and has a private practice.  He studied medicine at Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel.  He did a residency training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York in Neurology.  He then did a fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Brigham and Women's Hospital.
He has years of experience treating neurological conditions.  Furthermore, he has extensive experience prescribing cannabis for neurological conditions as he has been authorized to give medical marijuana card NY for years.
Dr. Sharon believes in treating the patient in his/her entirety.  Merely treating a condition with multiple medications can potentially lead to lots of side effects and may not actually improve quality of life.  The goal is to treat people's conditions in a productive and healthy way.  Dr. Sharon always encourages active exercise, a healthy diet, tackling stress, anxiety, and depression, and focusing on individual and personalized therapy for each of his patients.

     ▸ How to get NYC Medical Marijuana Card

  • Fill out the qualification form to get a NY medical marijuana license, card (takes only 2 minutes).
  • A representative will call you to schedule a live 1 on 1 consultation. After your consultation, approval is instant. (You will be asked to send a photo id and any previous medical documents showing your diagnosis to doctor@artemisnymedical.com)
  • Following the consultation and approval, please send payment via Paypal. Your medical marijuana card will then be sent to your email address listed within 1 business day.
  • Register online with New York State to receive your MMJ Card. To register online, go to http://my.ny.gov/ and click on “health applications“ then the “Medical Marijuana Data Management System“ after creating an account if you don’t have one.
  • You’re done! You should receive your New York State Medical Marijuana ID card in the mail within 3-5 business days
